Delivery & Returns



For UK orders that are very time sensitive (for a special occasion perhaps) or for orders placed during a postal dispute or strike we STRONGLY recommend that you take the slightly more expensive `Next day` option which will allow you to track and trace your parcel.



U.K. standard delivery is £4.00, please allow up to 7 working days.
U.K. Next day delivery is £8.00. All orders need to be placed before 2.00pm for next working day delivery. Orders placed after this will be delivered within 48 hours. Orders placed on a Friday afternoon, during the weekend or on a Bank Holiday will be processed the following working day (working day mon-fri).

We have recently introduced a courier service as an alternative to Royal Mail UK delivery. This service takes between 3-5 working days and the parcels must be signed for. This method costs £6.00. Please ring us on 01434 673961 to arrange this type of secure delivery for your order.

Standard Postage to Europe is £8.00. (all countries belonging to the European Union and Andorra, Gibraltar, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, Switzerland and The Vatican City). This is sent by Royal Mail International Signed For.

Standard Postage to The Rest Of The World is £12. This is sent by Royal Mail International Signed For.

Tulip and Nettle are not responsible for any import duties which may be payable on receipt.
We aim to despatch items that we have in stock within 24 hours, (during our sales this may be longer). These normally arrive promptly but please allow 7 to 14 working days for UK deliveries. If you need an order for a specific date we advise you to book our next working day `sign for` service.

*Please note: during very busy periods, sale items may take longer to dispatch.


Wherever possible we are happy to exchange items but cannot always be sure of stock availability. We recomend that you should always obtain proof of postage when returning items for exchange and enclose a note of what you would like us to send you as a replacement together with your original order details.


If you wish to return an item for refund, please email us your order number or name, post code, & intention within 7 days of receipt and then send the garment back to us.
We would ask that you obtain formal proof of postage &  advise that you use a secure trackable system. We do not pay postage on return items unless the goods are, for some reason, faulty - when we will, of course, credit return postage costs to your account.


Special Orders.
Where possible we are happy to put styles into special fabrics (for bridesmaids and pages), if we can make it work with our production schedules. However we cannot exchange or refund garments made to order.
